# omniarc sync

Generated from the code · as of CLI 0.6.0

Draft or refresh arc.yaml from compose's own model.

Needs `docker compose` on this machine. A new service that keeps data (a named volume, a writable bind inside the project, a database or cache image) is assumed to hold personal data and to start empty in a branch; one that keeps nothing is assumed not to. A decision already in arc.yaml is never changed. Prints the draft, and each guess on stderr.

Options:

- `--dir <DIR>`: The project directory: the one holding the compose file. Default: `.`.
- `--write`: Write arc.yaml: create it, or replace it only when the draft changes it, it has no comments and nothing else changed it meanwhile.
- `--arc <ARC>`: The arc's name for a first draft (default: the directory's name).
- `--json`: Print machine-readable JSON instead of a table.
