Use lowercase letters, digits and hyphens. Start with a letter, end with a letter or digit, and keep it to 20 characters or fewer: OmniArc refuses to create an arc with a longer name.

The name is checked against the arc you deploy to, ignoring case. If you run `omniarc deploy` against an arc called `shop-staging` from a project whose `arc.yaml` says `arc: shop`, the deploy is refused, because that is almost always the wrong project directory.
